Kanehili Neighborhood Park
In this park project for Native Hawaiian Homelands, the main goal was to design a park around local activities such as hula, Imu (fire-pit) food preperation, local games, native plants, and a community center which utilizes native archetypes to provide shading and air flow to a large gathering space.
This project was completed for SHADE, a public interest design collaborative based out of Honolulu, Hawai’i.
